About Our Company

Our family is not just limited to blood, as we genuinely believe in maintaining a “family” atmosphere with all of our employees.  We do take our work very seriously, but also strongly believe that having a relaxed and enjoyable place to work, greatly increases the productivity of our people.

CEO
Dave has been with Parkin Electric for 32 years where he started as a helper for his father Harry. Dave gained his Electrical license in 1990 and his General Supervisors license in 1994. He also holds a Washington State Master Electricians license.
Controller
Maureen (Dave’s wife) comes to Parkin Electric with a degree in Community Health Education from Portland State University.  Maureen oversees our safety program ensuring the safe work environment and practices of all our employees. 
President
Gary came to work for Parkin Electric in 1992 as an apprentice, coming from his family owned and operated HVAC company, Rose Heating and Cooling. System design and integration are key attributes that make Gary the top of his class.
Vice President
Tonya came to Parkin Electric in 1997 as a receptionist. Her current duties include billing, scheduling, job tracking and project accounting. She has a great attitude and is well liked by all of our customers and employees.
Project Manager/Estimator
Tammy started her career in the US Army. From there she completed her electrical training as an apprentice and then journeyman electrician in Massachusetts. With over 20 years of training, Tammy joined Parkin Electric in 2015 as a Project Manager/Estimator.
Project Manager/Estimator
Mike joined the Parkin Electric team as an electrical helper in the summer of 1994 just after graduating from Gresham High School (yes, Gary’s little brother). He had a drive to work and a passion to learn.
Administrative Assistant
Laura Menard joined Parkin Electric in 2016 and has been making us laugh ever since. Her love for her job and our customers is overwhelmingly obvious. Originally from Massachusetts, her East Coast sarcasm keeps us on our toes.
Office Assistant
After many years of customer service in the banking industry, Kaylea is right at home covering our reception desk where she is like an air traffic controller fielding phone calls and emails while scheduling estimates and service calls.
