My wife and I have been so happy with our experience front to back with Parkin Electric. From the moment we called to book an estimate till now (just before city inspector check off) it has been incredibly friendly people that genuinely sounded intent on doing everything they could to help. I’ve had opportunities to talk to admin over the phone (Amanda and I forget the other name my apology) and you could tell there was a smile on the other side of the phone.

Mike was knowledgeable and willing to talk through our requests of work as well as very friendly. Jason (and job partner [insert name]) called ahead of arrival to inform us of a traffic delay. Then proceeded to answer any questions we had while being, again, genuine friendly and courteous. All work was done professionally, clean, and prompt. I’m a home inspector and was very pleased with everything I’ve seen.

No one wants to spend money on filling their gas tank, nor does anyone look forward to spending money on electrical repairs, but the costs, coupled with the work and overall experience made us believers in Parkin. Thank you!  

I wanted to share that the job on Friday went well.  It feels great to have all the safety and functionality issues fixed and all the new lighting fixtures in.  Everything is working great.  I wanted to thank you again for a great job and customer service.  I’ve already shared with colleagues my positive experience with Parkin and all the folks I interacted with.

Please also pass along my thanks to Steve and let his boss know that I was really impressed with his customer service.  Examples were removing my jacket from the kitchen chair as well as the placemat so they wouldn’t get dirty as he worked on the kitchen lights and when he redid the light switches in the living room, he set them up so that they were the first two to click on and moved them to be together (rather than having the dead third switch in the middle).  I was impressed at how he was thinking about it from the user’s perspective and what would work best.  When he took down the fan, he also took the extra step to disassemble the blades for easy storage in my garage. 

From beginning to end, my experience with Parkin has been outstanding and I am definitely adding you all to my list of repair people to keep handy for the future.  In fact, there likely is another job related to my kitchen countertops that I may reach back out to you about in 2-3 months.

I just wanted to take the time to say a few words about Mike, your technician on the contract. He was very efficient with his time, meaning he didn’t waste any time, you know, with things like chatting on the phone, or to me, or taking breaks. While Mike was very serious about his work, he still came across as very polite and courteous to me, even when he thought I locked him in a stairwell and he thought he couldn’t get out! He was very tolerant of my tardiness every day, and the one thing I noticed that no other contractor has ever done, is clean up after himself with his very own battery operated hand-held vac!

That last one may seem small, but it is huge to me. It’s the smallest detail that is sometimes so important. When I got to thinking about all of Mike’s other attributes, I felt I needed to submit them in writing.

So very thankful for the generator. Power went out again tonight…for only about 30 minutes…but just that fast our alarm was going off for critical levels for the sump pumps. With all the snow and rain I guess the ground is really saturated, and it didn’t take long when the pumps stopped to get to critical levels. Thanks again for getting us all set up!
